BRING ALONG: Sun protection and no more than 50 kg of luggage per person. If you think you would like to do some bush walks, hiking boots will be required at Lizard and in the jungle.

DAY 1 CAIRNS TO LIZARD ISLAND We pick you up from Cairns Airport or your hotel to join your private aircraft for your very special scenic flight along 300 Kilometers of The Great Barrier Reef between Cairns and Lizard Island. Once on Lizard Island you can spend the day exploring the Island and the surrounding reefs. Snorkel with large green turtles, see the famous Clam Garden and visit the Blue Lagoon. The reef and marine life are among the best in the World. The Island is a remote idyllic paradise in the middle of The Great Barrier Reef. Just the place to begin your Romantic Getaway.

DAY 3 LIZARD ISLAND TO THE RAINFOREST Again this morning there is no rush as your aircraft does not depart Lizard Island until 1400 hrs, giving you plenty of time to relax over breakfast with still enough time for several hours snorkeling on the reef. Today we fly over many reefs, islands, major river systems and mountains clad in pristine untouched rainforest. We land in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest just in time for afternoon tea. Your lodge in the rainforest is quiet and peaceful, taking a maximum of only eight guests. The views of the World Heritage Daintree Rainforest and the Coral Sea from the front of your private cabin are simply breathtaking. There is a wonderful pool at the lodge and many secluded streams close by for you to relax in and enjoy. A guided night tour through the Rainforest is optional. Dinner is served at the lodge to the sounds of the nocturnal Rainforest awakening.

DAY 4 THE DAINTREE RAINFOREST This morning you have the choice of relaxing at the lodge or joining a tour through the World Heritage Daintree Rainforest. The crystal pool at the lodge with views across the World Heritage Rainforest has to be one of the most beautiful places in Australia to spend a day.

DAY 5 THE DAINTREE TO CAIRNS This morning we pick you up at the rainforest airstrip for a scenic flight back to Cairns via the Daintree River, Snapper Island, Port Douglas, Palm Cove and the Northern Beaches of Cairns. Time of departure will be your decision. Once back in Cairns we transfer you to your hotel or the Cairns airport.

DAY 2 LIZARD ISLAND Plenty of time to sleep in before a tropical breakfast overlooking the Coral Sea. Today is yours to enjoy any way you want. Find a beach where you will be totally alone for a picnic lunch or just relax around the pool. For the more adventurous a dive on the world famous Cod Hole or deep sea fishing are optional. Overnight again at the Lizard Island Lodge.
